This weeks activity is so easy.  But my problem was that Parker wanted to play with this for about... 5 minutes.  You win some and you lose some, I guess ;-) Luckily it didn't cost anything and took no time to make.  Here are some of our pics!

My Musician

My husband amazes me.  He has guts that I surely don't have.  He has dream and is going after what he wants.

 Its a BOLD move.

He wants to become an established Christian musician.

 He has a single coming out this month on iTunes.  Who does that?

PreK Activity Day -- Letter Tracing

I've kind of slacked on doing actual 'activities' with Parker.  Last week we pretty much played monster trucks, rode his power wheel, and watched Caillou.  So this week I've decided to be a little more dedicated to create activities with a purpose.  This is one we did today.  

We are currently working on our letters.  I pinned these super cute printable letter tracing pages on pinterest (I'm an addict!)

My son thinks he's John Mayer... and Keith Urban... Actually, he's better. 

 He will become RICH and FAMOUS. 

 He will take care of me when I'm old.

Which is good, because I hear I'm expensive.

Dear Parker

Dear Parker,

 You are 3 1/2 now. You have grown so much! Your dad and I are amazed daily how much we can love you.

 You are such a gentle spirit. 

Your imagination is amazing. Don't ever lose that.

 You can play in your own thoughts for hours. Dad and I love to come along with you...

 You love sports... especially hockey. You are good at sports too, and we don't know where you got that talent from.

 You are so forgiving, you are good at it. I can learn a lot from you.

 You are learning to write and to read, we take joy in seeing you grow and grow. But it also makes us sad... especially me, as you are growing up too quickly now. Sadly there will be a day when I have to let go, but I am assured that God won't let go...

 Always hold on to God.

 He loves you, He made you special for Him. You are HIS, not ours. He just chose us to help you navigate this journey called life.

 What an honor.



 Be open to His leading.  You are called to do great things.
